OCT 09

What a month!! And boy did it fly by. . .
- Fall break was very much anticipated and enjoyed. The highlight was a day at the zoo. The Pratt kids and Stacia joined us and we sure enjoyed looking at the baby animals: elephant, giraffe, tiger cubs, alligator, and monkeys. We stopped by and had lunch with Anth afterwards which was nice.
- Andrew loved playing flag football again. We had good weather for the games.
- We took the opportunity of one last nice weather Saturday and hiked to Stewart Falls. It was a beautiful day and the kids are great hikers.
- Tragedy struck on Oct. 25th when we heard that Marcus (Andrew's very best friend and our "other child" that only lives at our house some of the time) was in a serious ATV accident. It rolled and landed on him and he's still in ICU at Primary Children's Hospital. We continue to pray for his recovery.
- Cousin Aubrey was baptized on Halloween morning.
- Halloween was fun and we had perfect weather for trick or treating. Andrew was a sumo wrestler in a blow up suit, Elli was a bat, Anthony Jay wore his dad's gorilla suit and I dressed up as "Miss Foothill" for our school Halloween celebration.

Now bring on the Holidays!!! Here they come.
